Adecco are seeking mechanically minded individuals to Operate Machinery for Steel production based in Laverton North. These are casual ongoing roles within a stable and thriving business.

Day shift hours - 6:00am - 2:20pm

Afternoon shift hours - 2:00pm - 10:20pm

Description

Duties include but are not limited to:
Operating machines for cutting, bending and straightening steel

  • Loading machines with coil
  • Operating an overhead gantry crane using a hand held remote control
  • Basic programming for Machinery
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Prestart machine checks

Profile
To be considered for these roles you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous machine operating experience
  • Previous experience operating Reinforcing Bar Machines advantageous
  • Familiarity with basic programming for machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production targets
  • Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
  • Ability to pass and retain a pre employment medical including Drug & Alcohol
