About the role:


In this role at Infrabuild Recycling, East Maitland, you will play a crucial part in our mission to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility in the steel industry.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sorting, loading, and unloading steel materials in our recycling yard.
  • Safely operating forklifts and other equipment.
  • Assisting in maintaining and organizing the yard to ensure efficient workflow.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm with the occasional Saturday 8am - 12pm.

About your experience:

We are seeking individuals who are motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to safety.

  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle physical tasks.
  • A valid forklift license and proficiency in operating forklifts.
  • Previous experience in the steel recycling industry is preferred but not required.


This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your efforts directly contribute to a greener future.

While excavator experience is beneficial, it's not mandatory as training will be provided.
