What's the role?

Our Yandina Print Centre has an opportunity to fill a position for a shift Electrical Tradesperson on the Sunshine Coast Queensland.

This position will suit an individual with a sound background as an Industrial Electrical Tradesperson with at least several years of practical experience. Previous experience working in the print industry would be advantageous but not a must.

Key duties and responsibilities:

In your role you will be part of a reliability team that covers 24/7 shift work, attending to breakdowns and preventative maintenance in an exciting faced paced industry.

  • Repair and maintain production equipment including attending breakdowns.
  • Undertake any production activity, including operation of equipment, as and when required by management.
  • Fulfill company reporting requirements as required.
  • Accountable for ensuring the Workplace Health and Safety legislative requirements are met.
  • Contribute to a team culture of continually seeking to reduce the risk of injury or environmental incident.
  • Ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times and that all accidents/incidents are reported.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

  • Demonstrate experience in electrical fitting and repair of high-speed industrial equipment
  • Experience in electrical fault finding
  • Hold Queensland Electrical qualifications
  • Possess sound PC knowledge (eg: windows, office)
  • Be flexible and embrace change
  • Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a small multi-skilled team
  • Work 12-hour rotating shifts.
  • Willing to learn and contribute to the development of fellow team members
  • Work alongside mechanical team members and undertake minor mechanical work when required.
