The role:


The purpose of the IT Cybersecurity Manager role is to proactively manage, monitor and maintain, as well as improve cybersecurity and data privacy.

This role is also responsible for ensuring compliance and retention of the Right Fit For Risk (RFFR) and ISO27k certifications.


This role requires the ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues within and beyond IT Services, to ensure that a consistent, high-quality service is delivered.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, requiring excellent communication and customer service skills as well as a broad range of IT knowledge.


Skills & Experience required:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in a similar role
  • Relevant Security Qualifications
  • Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot.
  • Microsoft Azure, and AVD.
  • Microsoft Active Directory management (users, groups, OUs, DNS, DHCP, replication, hardening).
  • Experience with Right Fit For Risk / ISO27k / Essential Eight
  • Experience with Darktrace Cyber Security Platform
  • Mimecast spam filtering or similar.
  • Palo Alto firewall or similar.
  • Meraki SD-WAN
  • A good understanding of Privileged Access Management.
  • A good understanding of webapps, webservers, APIs, especially the high availability and security hardening aspects.
  • Experience of working accurately and confidently with security tools and technology
  • Experience of developing professional and effective working relationships with customers and key stakeholders
