Our client is asuccessful Australianinvestment management firm with a multi asset and fixed income product offering.

This role can be based out of Sydney or Melbourne, andis an exciting opportunity for a legal professional with at least one year of post-admission experience, and ideally experience from the financial services industry.

You will be joining a team of 4 and as a Legal Counsel, you will play a key role in providing legal support and guidance for allinvestment capabilities.


Role and Responsibilities:

Support and advise the business with respect to all legal related matters, including identifying and managing legal andregulatory risks and issues Review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to investment activities Preparation of Board / Committee / Working Group papers as relevant to role.

Support the legal, risk and compliance team in regulatory examinations, operational due diligence and corporate audits asand when required.

Legal research and monitoring of key regulatory developments as relevant to the Firm and our clients for the purposes ofinforming key stakeholders, internal reporting and ultimately, implementation and execution Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in law, in addition to 1 years minimum post admission Experience working in the fundsmanagement industry is preferred, and financial services experience is crucial Ability to communicate with impact and explain legal, risk and compliance mattersclearly andconcisely Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop strong relationships with stakeholders and senior management Benefits: Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the firm A collaborative and inclusive work culture that values diversity and innovation APPLY now and call Francesca on for a confidential conversation.
