The Clinical Director, in collaboration with the General Manager, Hunter New England Imaging (HNEI) is responsible for the clinical oversight of the BSNSW HNE Service and is the overall clinical administrative head of BSNSW HNE, responsible for ensuring the provision of safe and appropriate care to Breast Screen clients that is in accordance with Breast Screen Australia (BSA) National Accreditation Standards (NAS).

The position also provides clinical leadership in the coordination of strategic planning, development and management of the Service to ensure the provision of efficient and effective, high quality breast cancer screening and assessment services that is client focused, evidence based and aligns with BSA NAS.

The Clinical Director will provide supervision, support and direction to other clinicians in the program and is responsible for the implementation and oversight of clinical processes and clinical governance systems which align with BSA NAS.

A primary medical degree with the Medical Board of Australia registrable with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
