About the role:

We are currently looking for experienced, committed, and compassionate support workers to provide one-to-one support services to a female client needing assistance with personal care, manual handling etc.

in our newly established SDA/SIL accommodation in Point Cook, Victoria.

Our purpose is to help participants recover, rejuvenate and recalibrate in every way through a transdisciplinary approach.

What are we looking for?Minimum 1+ years' prior experience in provision of one-to-one support for people from the mental health or community services sectors, working with complex clients.

Experience with supporting individuals who have mental health and physical disabilities.

Demonstrated experience supporting challenging behaviours (highly valued)Willingness to support clients with personal care including showering, manual handling, medications, community access, meal preparation, domestic chores and mealtime assistance.

Demonstrable communication skills including report writing, case note writing.
Must be available to work 20+ hours per week and able to work a rotating roster including sleepover shifts.
