Depot Supervisor

The Depot Supervisor / Lead will be responsible for the monitoring the day-to-day general depot operations, driving inwards and outwards goods towards deadlines as well as providing a high level of leadership to our employees.

• Manage and support small team to ensure they are meeting daily requirements
• Assist team with issues as they arise and communicate accordingly
• Process import and prepare export documentation
• Update internal system and report daily activity
• Coordinate shipment deliveries to meet client service agreements
• Maintain shipment status information regarding planned delivery and actual delivery
• Freight sorting of freight, mainly large and bulky items
• Manual handling
• General depot duties, assisting with additional tasks where required

• Freight depot operations experience
• Reliable and dependable
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Desire to work in a deadline driven environment
• Supportive, hands on leader
• Working with and navigating Depot Staff.
• The ability to multitask, adapt to the changing needs, and work within a team environment.
• The ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Have sound knowledge of IT systems
• Adhere to safe work practices and procedures.
• Attention to detail and ability to complete set tasks.

• Can Do" Attitude.
• Be prepared to perform manual handling tasks sorting freight, loading, and unloading trucks.
• Having a forklift license is essential.
