Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in electrical engineering principles, specifically tailored to maritime applications, and have a proven track record of successful project management and implementation.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components for maritime vessels.
  • Create detailed electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.

Project Management:

  • Manage and oversee multiple projects from concept through to completion.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in maritime electrical engineering and implement best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues on maritime vessels.

Client Interaction:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored engineering solutions.
  • Present technical information and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections as needed.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure all electrical systems and components meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of design processes, modifications, and compliance certifications.
Qualifications and

Experience:

Education:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 510 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 5 years in the maritime / defence /aviation industry.
  • Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects.
  • Strong background in designing and implementing electrical systems for maritime vessels.

Skills:

  • Proficient in CAD software and electrical design tools.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with relevant maritime regulations and standards (e.g., SOLAS, IEC standards).
