Refrigeration/HVAC Mechanical Supervisor- Government

The Client

A reputable Government Department is seeking a skilled, dependable, and dedicated Mechanical Supervisor. They require someone with ample experience to seamlessly integrate into the team.

Your Opportunity:

  • Monitor and assess project standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices and agreed cost and time constraints
  • Report to senior supervisors on the planning and execution of ACRRP projects
  • Conduct startup, safety, and completion inspections for ACRRP projects
  • Offer technical guidance to Contractors regarding repair/replacement decisions
  • Perform A/C inspections to define the scope of work for replacement projects
  • Evaluate Condition Reports from contractors, suggesting A/C replacements to verify the accuracy of recommendations
  • Provide updates on the status of repair/replacement projects
  • Conduct on-site Condition assessments of existing split system ACs using an assessment template

About You

Essential Qualifications:

  • HVAC Mechanical Trade certification (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with split system AC installation, repairs, and maintenance (mandatory)
  • Proficient in MS Excel, capable of creating and managing spreadsheets to monitor AC breakdown status, and input and review data in existing spreadsheets
  • Experience in assessing the condition of split system Air Conditioning units (preferable)
  • Demonstrated skill in effective communication with customers and internal staff, both written and verbal
