Chemistry Teacher

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and innovative teacher, committed to delivering excellence in our Science Department commencing Term 3, 2023.

This position requires an educator with experience teaching Chemistry from Year 7 to 10 and Year 11 and 12 ATAR Chemistry.

You will join a department that supports innovative classroom practice and engages with boys in relation to their individual learning requirements.

Ideally the successful applicant will possess an exceptional understanding of current educational pedagogy and an understanding of boys' educational teaching and learning practices.

All staff are expected to support the ethos of the School, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, will have an exceptional understanding of innovative educational pedagogy and show an understanding of boys' educational teaching and learning practices.

It is an expectation of the School that all members of staff contribute to the co-curricular program in a way that balances the needs of the School and the successful applicant's talents and interests.

Similarly, staff are expected to be fully supportive of their pastoral responsibilities in a School that values highly the care of the individual within a House system that is vertically organised into tutor groups.
