Our Federal Government client is currently seeking multiple

APS4 Skills Program Officers for a temporary contract until October 2023 with a view for extension.


To be successful in this role, you will perform a range of operational functions within the Corporate and Enabling team.


Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Action data change and amendment requests, transfer requests and unconfirmed claims.
  • Process a range of claims providers, employers, and apprentices.
  • Undertake follow up actions with providers when required.
  • Accurately calculate potential overpayments and debts.
  • Answer enquiries from providers via a group mailbox.
  • Assist with file monitoring.

Applications are invited from people with the following skills and capabilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT Databases; a knowledge of or the ability to quickly acquire the knowledge of mainframe IT database systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide clear and accurate advice to stakeholders.
  • Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret program guidelines and contractual agreements.
  • Good attention to detail, effective time management and ability to work with competing priorities.
As this role is working within Federal Government, it is a requirement you hold Australian Citizenship.

This role is at APS4 equivalent offering

$45.26 per hour. The position is Adelaide CBD based.
