Bluefin Resources are working with a prestigious government enterprise to recruit a Data Modeller/Designer for a 12 month contract with further extensions.


Background and job description:

  • Develop TSNSW Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models aligned to the DEWR/NCVER VET-IS data model and extend the model to cater to the comprehensive TSNSW enterprise data model.
  • Conduct workshops with business, analysts, data SMEs and data stewards to understand the meaning of data & complex business requirements and translate them into data models to support the business needs keeping in mind flexibility and scalability.
  • Develop a TSNSW business glossary based on the TSNSW enterprise model and communicate it to the business.
  • Collaborate with TSNSW business to understand the business process models, convert the business models to data model requirements and provision the target data models for analysis and reporting
  • Deliver Data, Data Models, data mapping, and analytics expertise in the articulation, design, and development of data and reporting solutions.
  • Design and develop data structures and processes for endtoend solutions.
  • Responsible to define data structures, endtoend data flow, and pattern mapping.
  • Ability to define and develop normalised, dimensional data models and schemas

On Offer - This is an initial 12 month contract with a high chance of extensions. Office location is Parramatta. Flexible working arrangements offered.
