ABOUT THE ROLE


The Project Support Officer provides project governance support for project delivery across NSW Ambulance, through implementing strategies to support project management teams to deliver projects in alignment with delivery frameworks and standards.

This includes facilitating high quality project planning, documentation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

The Project Support Officer is as a member of the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) within the Corporate Governance and Legal Services team, which is a team who supports a wide range of projects across NSW Ambulance with effective oversight and assurance of project management practices across the end-to-end project lifecycle.

  • We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual, who has experience in governance and/or project delivery.
In addition, to be successful in this role the following skills and experience are required:

Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with staff, management and stakeholders, using interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, actively collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders.


  • Demonstrated effective planning and organising skills and the ability to deliver multiple outcomes within tight timeframes where attention to detail is essential.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a commitment to achieving quick results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, including experience in the preparation of project and/or governance documentation, materials and reports.
