The role


In this role you will be responsible for the coordination, analysis, interpretation, and facilitation of APLNG's operated joint venture activities to support APLNG's strategic and commercial objectives.

You will provide advice and analysis of APLNG's operated joint venture activities to support APLNG's compliance with obligations under the relevant operating agreements.


The role in more detail:

  • Liaise with relevant business units to provide guidance, gather information, and influence actions to ensure awareness of and compliance to obligations under the relevant agreement.
  • Manage regular operational obligations relating to joint venture agreements:
  • Assurance review and issue monthly expenditure statements and cash calls.
  • Prepare correspondence relating to operational and capital projects to be issued to external joint venture parties and monitor responses.
  • Manage joint venture reporting to external partners in relation to production and workover activity.
  • Coordinate and prepare materials to support regular joint venture meetings.
  • Coordination and attendance to meetings with external parties to discuss matters which arise against the relevant agreements from time to time.
  • Identify and assess commercial and strategic opportunities that are aligned with APLNG and Integrated Gas business priorities and supporting the delivery of those opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will come with a strong problem solving skills with an ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholder groups to support the delivery of business outcomes.

  • Tertiary qualified (commerce, economics, engineering, science, or law)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels of an organisation
  • Desire to work as part of a team to solve complex commercial problems
