About the role


The MRI Supervisor is responsible for providing a broad range of MRI imaging services within the Medical Imaging Department at SA Medical Imaging Berri, ensuring the provision of an effective imaging service.

Assists senior staff in the development of staff through documentation and implementation of training programs.

The incumbent is responsible for developing relevant protocols and managing outcomes. They undertake research imaging as required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Working With Children Check (DHS)
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease:
Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.

Educational/Vocational Qualifications:

  • Licenced under the Radiation Protection and Control Act SA (1982)
  • Registration as a Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles a statement of accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent (up to July 2012) and then registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (post July 2012).
