About The Role:


Our market leading Rail Systems Engineering business has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Design Engineerto join the highly regarded team based in Perth WA.

As the Senior Design Engineer, you will bolster our Rail Systems Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in signal design engineering within rail projects, couple with proven leadership skills and a knack for client interfacing.

Join us and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of rail systems with your expertise and leadership prowess.

About you
Relevant Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' Signal Design Engineer expertise in rail projects.
Design team leadership and client interfacing experience.
Prior experience in railway signal engineering and working knowledge of other relevant rail systems and sub-systems.
Experience in In-Cab signalling, CBTC and ETCS will be highly desirable.
Experience in interlocking design, ideally in Microlokll, Electrolog IXS or similar.
Knowledge in core railway signalling principles and various Australian Railway standards and practices (CENELEC, IEEE etc).
Prepare and review signalling designs from concept through to detailed design.
Assist in signalling system commissioning and provide design support.
Ability to produce/review system requirements and architecture, complex interface requirements, scheme plans, control tables, block diagrams.
Previous team leading, design management and client interface experience.
