THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Data Analyst role plays a critical role in the creation, vision and architecture of key audience-based data initiatives and innovations at JCDecaux. Reporting to the Data Operations Manager, harnessing considerable technical skills and project management experience, this role is responsible for the successful ideation, deployment and architecture of innovative data solutions.

A fun and interesting role that will see you working with a large number of datasets and platforms, giving you a unique opportunity to make a large impact within the business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support in the ETL and analysis of large datasets, utilising technical skills in SQL or similar
  • Aid in investigating new data sources and analysis frameworks for the Marketing team to deliver insights and business value, by assisting with the interpretation, visualisation and presentation of this data
  • Support various data initiatives under the directive of senior members of the team
  • Work with the Insights and wider Marketing and Technology teams on the creation, maintenance and integration of current insights platforms, both industry based and bespoke
  • Enhancing and automating data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
  • Doing ad-hoc analysis of current and new datasets for small and large scale projects
  • Interpreting large datasets and utilizing data mining using innovative methods

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

You'll have demonstrated experience within Data Analytics, have a high level of exposure to and/ or experience with statistical and analytical modelling and ML techniques and be a self-motivated person who can think in a unique and creative way. As well as:

  • Has 3-5 years in a data analyst role
  • High level of exposure to and/or experience with statistical and analytical modelling and ML techniques
  • High level of exposure to AWS environments and applications such as Redshift and Lambdas
  • Experience with related technologies: data acquisition (API integration, ETL tools), data storage (SQL), analytical programming (Python, R, etc.) and visualisation (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), data modelling and statistics
  • Worked in or has had exposure to an AGILE project environment and also has a mindset to ensure agility in delivering/ enabling capabilities and continuous improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and proactive; demonstrating unique and creative thinking
  • Awareness of current and emerging technologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Please note the start date for this role will be the 1st of August.
