We are looking for an AMAZING ALL-ROUNDER Vet Nurse

Do you love a bit of variety in your day? Are you just as happy to be in surgery monitoring an anesthetic as you are to be out the front helping customers or assisting in a consult?

Greencross Kangaroo Flat is an open plan design, aiding in the inclusive and cohesive team environment amongst our Vets and Vet Nurses. We are a community focused practice with some very loyal long-term clients, team wellbeing and mental health is a top priority, supported with flexible working arrangements. Our facilities include 2 consult rooms, prep area, surgical room, radiography room, seperate dog and cat wards.

About your New Job:

  • Casual or Part-time role available
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
  • Performing minor procedures when required
  • Reception duties and customer service
  • Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment

About your skill level and experience:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
  • 2+ years' Veterinary Nursing experience
  • Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
  • A calm and friendly presence
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable within a team environment
  • Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
