Role Overview:

As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will have a vital role in the design, analysis, and supervision of bridge infrastructure projects. You will lead a team of engineers and collaborate with diverse teams to provide high-quality and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in structural engineering, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a drive for innovative bridge designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and analysis of various bridge structures, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
  • Offer technical expertise and guidance throughout project life-cycles.
  • Perform structural assessments and recommend appropriate strategies for existing bridges.
  • Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, and drawings.
  • Utilize advanced structural analysis tools for optimized designs.
  • Collaborate with different professionals to integrate bridge structures into larger projects.
  • Review design submittals and construction materials.
  • Provide technical support during construction activities.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support their development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Structural Engineer license preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of bridge engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
