About the role:


Our Delivery community sits at the heart of Ashurst Advance, providing efficient, innovative and cost effective solutions to our clients' legal and business challenges.


As a result of ongoing growth in the division we are hiring a Manager to work alongside the four existing Managers - Delivery in our Ann Street office.


Comprehensively supported by a matter-based ecosystem including People Leads, Expertise Leads, Service Owners, Matter Delivery Leads, a Resourcing Manager and Director of Advanced Solutions, you will focus on achieving extraordinary results through client service delivery.

You may also have the opportunity to take on People Lead and/or Matter Delivery Lead responsibilities to contribute to the ongoing high performance of the community.


You will be provided with exceptional training, mentoring and coaching to enable you to perform your role to the best of your ability.

About you:

  • Legal background ideally with 2+ years practising in a traditional law firm and/or 2+ years in a similar legal role. Law degree is desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering multiple legal led solutions and services in transactional or contentious law. Ability to scope, set up, design, pilot and operationally deliver large projects involving multiple stakeholders with quality financial outcomes
  • 2+ years' experience leading complex legal matters to conclusion with high quality and financial outcomes, managing KPIs, KRIs and team member performance
  • Experienced in workflow management, confident using key Microsoft products, process mapping tools, has worked on legal tech platforms and managed delivery harnessing tech solutions
  • Experienced in proactively engaging with clients and collaborating with teams to understand their needs and devise and deliver strategies to meet them
  • Able to identify issues of quality and propose solutionsoriented actions including training and development
  • Demonstrates personal resilience through complexity
  • Enthusiastic and resourceful approach, being a proactive and motivated selfstarter with excellent organisation skills and an enjoyment of working to deadlines
  • An understanding of effective business development strategies and how client relationship building in a professional services setting works is desirable
