Our client is a leader in the fire safety industry and are seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join their team in Central Queensland.

This position involves servicing fire protection systems and equipment to high standard of quality and excellence. You'll be experienced working amongst the mining and commercial sectors.

Your general responsibilities will be to:

  • Inspect test, Survey and Maintain customer premises and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment.
  • Identify, defects, nonconformances and recommendations to ensure effective service and repair of fire protection and safety systems equipment is optimised for our clients
  • Use of handheld devices to ensure compliance on completion of work tasks.
  • Assist in the quoting or repairs to systems
  • Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management, and service delivery
  • Participate in stocktakes and be responsible for own inventory management
  • Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and
  • Participate in On Call Roster

What we're looking for:

  • QBCC licence and any other relevant qualifications.
  • Supervisor nominee licence
  • Fire Detection experience
  • Excellent Customer focused attitude
  • Good effective time management skills
  • Ability to work in team environment and also a selfstarter
  • Up to date product and industry knowledge
  • Australian Standards, Sprinkler Fitter
  • Wet Systems Fire Protection Equipment
  • Current Driver's Licence is essential
  • Ability to work additional hours and FIFO on 7/7 roster

The successful individual will be rewarded with the following:

  • $60-$65 per hour + super
