Our client, a leading provider of child & family services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead a team of highly skilled practitioners delivering clinical, in-home, intensive intervention required to treat underlying causes of trauma, harm and concerning behaviours impacting the safety of children.

This role will involve;

  • Provide leadership and supervision to a team of three Therapeutic Practitioners and one Caseworker, ensuring adherence to program specific protocols and best practices.
  • Conduct weekly group supervision sessions and provide ongoing individual supervision as needed to enhance clinician competency and address barriers to effective program service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical efforts, facilitating peer and supervisory input while meeting reporting requirements of funding and referral sources.
  • Collaborate with experts to deliver feedback, resources, and training to team members, supporting the collection of data and research measures.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with community stakeholders to maintain a steady flow of referrals for the program, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation of framework guidelines and principles in treating serious, high-risk, and complex cases of child abuse and neglect, addressing multiple factors contributing to familial dysfunction.
  • Ensure that service is provided to families in a home-based, intensive manner for a duration of six to nine months, with flexibility to adapt to individual family needs while adhering to program guidelines.
  • Monitor treatment progress and outcomes, adjusting interventions as necessary to promote positive change and address emerging needs within the family system.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination between team members, other service providers, and relevant agencies to ensure holistic support for families in crisis.

They are looking for candidates with experience providing clinical supervision to practitioners within the child & family space.

The requirements for this role include;

  • Master's degree in clinical or counselling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area, or a Bachelor degree with relevant, high-level experience.
  • Able to lead a team and provide group and individual clinical supervision.
  • Demonstrated experience in individual therapy with children and adults using cognitive behavioural techniques.
  • Knowledge in theory and application of Family Systems Theory, Social Ecological Theory, CBT, and other treatments.
  • Implemented interventions within or between systems in the family's natural ecology that affect or contribute to the child abuse and/or neglect.
  • Current Working with Children's Check

Applicants would be required to participate an a 90 minute, virtual interview followed by a second in-person interview.
