The Program Manager will primarily lead the ongoing development and practical day to day management of the QAS Leadership Capability Development Framework. The fundamental skills requirements for this role include the ability to design online leadership development content, lead stakeholder engagement, manage consultation, work with subject matter experts, and manage the framework's intranet presence.
The role requires the practical application of project management methodology, and will provide leadership, advice, and support to a range of internal stakeholders and subject matter experts relating to the development and implementation of leadership development learning modules within the framework.
The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:
- Whilst not mandatory, tertiary or postgraduate qualification/s in leadership, coaching, organisational development or another relevant discipline will be highly regarded.
- Experience in leadership capability development, educational design and teaching in a vocational education environment will be highly regarded.
- Experience in e-learning technology or instructional design and / or equivalent combination of relevant experience, education and training will be highly regarded.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design, delivery and e-learning technologies, including the development of learning and assessment plans, online courses, video tutorials, action learning, seminars, workshops, learning simulations and resources - preferably within the context of leadership capability development.
- Proven ability to integrate adult learning theory, leadership capability development, and instructional design methodology into an appropriate mix of delivery media and methods through contemporary technology.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to engage, influence and consult with a diverse range of stakeholders to negotiate quality project outcomes.
- Demonstrated high levels of creativity, innovation and design thinking, including the ability to research and critically assess information and clearly articulate concepts from a strategic perspective.
- Proven highly developed project management skills including the ability to set priorities, work independently, under pressure, achieve deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
