Building Services- Sydney, NSW- Full TimeDue to recent promotions, we are seeking two security technicians/installers to join a tier two Security contractor here in Sydney.

Ideally, they are looking for 1 x junior and 1 x senior Installers, the junior security installer with 1-2 years' experience and seeking a career in the Electronic Security space and the senior installer having 4+ years.

‍Responsibilities**:
‍

  • Onsite quality control.
  • Adjust sensitivity of units based on room structures and manufacturers' recommendations, using programming keypads.
  • Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wire and strapping.
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals in order to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  • Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.

Selection Criteria:
‍

  • 12 years' experience in a similar position for a Junior Technician role and 4+ years for the Senior Tech/Junior PM position.
  • Experience in both residential and commercial is preferred.
  • NSW Driver's License.
