About The Position
You will provide support to the Payroll Specialist by collecting, entering, maintaining, and calculating the payroll information for The Perth Mint
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform endtoend processing of fortnightly payroll runs to a high level of accuracy using the Chris21 payroll system.
- Conduct the balancing and reconciliation of fortnightly payroll outputs, generating the finalised documentation for Finance.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as requested by stakeholders, while undertaking other administrative tasks related to the full range of daytoday and cyclical personnel/payroll functions.
- Review employees' entitlements (e.g., leave credits, allowances, and accruals) ensuring that the information is correct within the payroll system through a systematic audit process.
- Assisting the payroll specialist in the EndofMonth process, by generating relevant reports and making appropriate payments to Superfunds.
- Attend to personnel and payroll enquires in a timely manner as necessary.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of contemporary best payroll practices, changes to employment legislation and changes through market updates by attending seminars, reviewing professional publications, and conducting personal research.
About You:
- Significant experience in payroll, in a medium to large
- Experience with Enterprise Agreements, including
- accordance with these
- Experience with Chris21 preferred but not essential
