Physiotherapist

Physio Whyalla has an opportunity for an experienced OR new/ recent graduate Physiotherapist to join them in 2024.

Servicing the busy rural city of Whyalla, this is sure to be a rewarding move to start or further your career.

• This role is offered on either a full time or part time basis.
• Standard full time consulting hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm (no weekend work). To show our commitment to your work/life balance, you will receive an extra 2 annual leave days per year. Other flexible arrangements can also be negotiated.
• You will receive generous remuneration of $80000 per annum (1.0FTE) with regular reviews. Physio's with prior experience may negotiate a higher starting salary.
• A $5000^ bonus will be paid for each 12 months of service (^based on 1.0FTE – conditions apply)
• In addition a PD allowance of $2000 will be made available. RDWA's Health Workforce Scholarship Program will greatly enhance your ability to undertake regular Professional Development and Training. You will also receive 1 on 1 mentoring and an 'open door' policy with the Practice Principle.
• A rural relocation grant may be available to help you move and get set up.

Essential Criteria

Current or pending registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

The Practice

Providing physiotherapy services to the people of Whyalla and surrounding communities, Physio Whyalla delivers a broad range of services with a focus on general musculoskeletal, pre and post-op rehab, sporting and work injuries and some pre-employment screenings. With a clear focus on patient centred care, the team encourages specific exercise prescription and evidence based management as an essential element to ongoing recovery.

You will enjoy the fully equipped facilities including the onsite rehabilitation gym, as well as access to local pool and gym facilities. (We have a new premises and website coming in 2024)

Our client base is a good mix of Private, NDIS, RTWSA (WorkCover), and Medicare.
