Job Description:

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent's kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

As a Registered Nurse you'll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of SVCS Eltham. This position is for a fixed term of 6-8 months with a possibility to be extended.

St Vincent's Care Services Eltham is just 20 kilometres north-east of Melbourne's city centre and is well known for its vast amount of green space. We provide a welcoming and inclusive community where our residents enjoy the comfort of a relaxed lifestyle.

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential
  • Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility
  • Flexibility to be able to work morning, afternoon and/or night shifts
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to follow directives as per care plan
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • Current flu and COVID-19 vaccination
  • National Police Certificate (within the last 6 months)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
