Who we are


Residing within Supply Chain management the Planning & Purchasing team has accountability for providing the development and execution of supply chain demand management, inventory management and purchasing enabling business growth and sustainability.

These strategic and tactical functions are delivered through; modelling, forecasting and supply chain planning, inventory management. Additionally, we are also responsible for all purchasing activities in support of BDA programs incorporating BDA & BAH.

The opportunity


We are seeking an inventory specialist to join our diverse Planning & Purchasing team in providing technical supply chain expertise.

This position is pivotal in executing existing programs and will work closely and collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve objectives that drive innovation and supply improvements with the vision to maintain aircraft availability, as well as contribute to the development of our future strategies.

This position is located at Edinburgh, South Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver commercial benefits to customers through effective supply chain methodologies
  • Establish strong customer and internal business partner relationships to capitalize on current and future opportunities
  • Assist in the management of assigned items of supply such as breakdown spares and repairable items
  • Ensure import and export requirements are met and compliant with Global Trade Controls
  • Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies
  • Managing orders and delivery schedules
  • Conduct stock analysis, inventory and stock level assessments for supply chain
  • Reconcile invoices and outstanding payments

Experience/Qualifications

  • Ability to work with a highly level of autonomy in a fastpaced environment
  • High level communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams and key internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate experience in identifying, establishing and promoting supply process improvements at the project level
  • Advance knowledge of ERP platforms, ORACLE preferred
  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
  • Aircraft supply support services knowledge, skills and experience
  • High level of written and oral communication and negotiation skills to facilitate open interaction between customer support teams, repair agencies and key internal and external stakeholders
  • NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain
