The key role of this job is to provide engaging and thoughtful lessons, following planned activities in accordance with the faculty syllabi and school priorities.


Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate passion for teaching in the Physical Education and Health field
  • Identify individual learning needs
  • Teach in a way that enables all students to succeed
  • Provide an appropriate role model for students in terms of punctuality, dress and conduct
  • Observe safe work practices, maintain a safe and supportive environment

  • Understands obligations in relation to Health and Safety and meets expectations

Qualifications and Experience

  • Current VIT registration
  • Appropriate teaching qualification
  • First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one)
  • Experience teaching VCE Health and Human Development and/or Physical Education would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to coach cocurricular sports teams and programs

This is a full time ongoing role at our Brighton Senior School Campus, commencing Term
