This is an excellent opportunity to join a brokerage with a warm and encouraging work culture. Based in North Sydney, this specialist broker is built on forging strong client relationships and offering expert advice to all clients. They're a member of the Steadfast network and a large, rapidly growing insurance broking group.

Your new role:
As a heavy motor specialist broker, you will be responsible for a portfolio of appropriate business aligned to your capabilities and degree of expertise. Your knowledge and experience will be offered to your fellow team members as mentorship and guidance in support of their careers. You'll be the senior member of the business and offer leadership responsibilities to the Sydney office. You will be working alongside other experienced brokers with a focus on providing strong risk management services. You will be managing an existing portfolio of clients and are expected to provide the service and expertise to retain and grow this book.

Role includes:

  • Management of a portfolio of existing clients across a diverse range of products and industries
  • Grow the portfolio through leads, referrals and business development
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow office staff
  • Thorough understanding of risk management practices
  • Provide the highest level of customer support to clients
  • Liaise directly with insurers and other industry services

What you will need to succeed:
To be successful in this position you should have:

  • Tier 1 qualification
  • Experience with heavy motor, plant & equipment and fleet clients
  • Strong product knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Energetic and vibrant personality
  • Ambition to succeed and progress in your career
  • Self-motivated and a strong work ethic
