**The opportunity

We are seeking a talented
Production Planner to join our Ground Systems team who support ground-based training and operational environments, the role can be based in
Newcastle or Brisbane.

**Responsibilities

• Issuing of Purchase Requests for all materials, external services and subcontractors aligned with project schedule requirements.
• Working within the engineering framework to support execution, in accordance with plans & processes, to successfully deliver project outcomes
• Engaging effectively with project managers, team leads, buyers, and engineers to ensure all projects milestones are supported and achieved.
• Analyse technical directives, drawings, maintenance and modification forecasts, Technical Maintenance Plan
• Develop Work Orders, Bills of Materials and Graphic Aids from Technical Directives, Modification Orders and associated drawings

**Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years Production planning experience in a maintenance and or manufacture environment.
• Excellent communication skills that enable the applicant to influence outcomes in a group environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
• Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
