Position Summary:

  • The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Specialist/Senior Developer will have in depth experience in both consulting and development skillsets. They will have advanced Blue Prism development and deployment skills and will be able to work closely with business stakeholders through completing consulting led RPA process assessments, will have experience in setting up the RPA CoE and will develop intelligent process automations using Blue Prism, as well as having experience in agile RPA delivery.
  • The Specialist would be collaborating with a client to enable them to deliver and scale Blue Prism RPA solutions. If successful, you will play a critical role in the growth of the Cognizant team and its RPA capability across ANZ.
  • This is a Permanent role. And we will need someone with a blend of good client facing/ consulting skills (i.e., good communication skills, articulate) + experience within technical aspects/delivery. This role sits within Cognizant's RPA Practice.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Practical experience using Blue Prism RPA at an advanced level and be Blue Prism certified.
  • Able to architect, present, and explain RPA solutions to various stakeholder groups.
  • Solid technical experience in an IT programming development environment with evidence of the ability to complete functional and technical designs, code, unit test and documentation in Blue Prism RPA.
  • Able to quickly understand customers' business processes and explore and architect solutions leveraging RPA tools.
  • Willingness to keep up to date on the latest versions of Blue Prism and new functionality.
  • Able to work within project schedule constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues and assisting with replanning where necessary.
  • Knowledge of RPA and AI API's.
  • Strong experience using software technologies such as .Net Framework, C#, and VB scripts.
  • Ability to manage development team members working on support and maintenance activities.
  • Be an expert in agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts.
  • Be disciplined in managing project scope and timelines.
  • Initiative-taker: self-directed and initiative-taking in managing tasks and setting challenging targets to achieve client's demands.
  • As we are consulting business, naturally we seek excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic and unprompted attitude for implementing and developing new operation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for architecture, design, build, test, and deployment of the Blue Prism RPA solutions, as well as managing teams, ensuring new team members have mentors and learn best practices.
  • Work as a lead developer role and managing both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Contribute to solution documentation to support solution transition and maintenance, do effort estimation, delivery planning, software quality assurance.
  • Creating handover documentation.
  • Able to deliver on assigned responsibilities adhering to coding standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Create, maintain, and manage technical quality assurance processes and guidelines.
  • Working on support and maintenance activities.
  • Use agile methodologies (Scrum, TDD) and work closely with the Business Analyst and functional experts.

  • Recommending corrective action plans and improvements in the resolution of non-compliance with standards detected through monitoring and auditing of processes and procedures.
  • Communicating, educating, and consulting with users and management to ensure awareness and adherence to standards, procedures and quality control issues and activities.
  • Assisting in troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing, and resolving system problems and issues.
  • Developing, conducting, and providing technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures.

Salary Range: >$100,000
