About the role:


As an editor for International SOS, the role would be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and consistency of our 24/7 global security intelligence content in a proactive, engaging, and expressive manner whilst working in a multi-cultural environment.


Key responsibilities:

  • Edit and publish security content in line with the quality and service deliver standards
  • Draft short advisories to notify clients of breaking security events worldwide
  • Ensure consistency of security content against global and country thresholds, and across membership service lines
  • Maintain daily reporting schedules and shift record
  • Provide high quality editorial support to the security operation, including helping to guide reporting consistency, priorities and coverage
  • Support the development and training of regional security specialists
  • Assist in responding to client queries / feedback on security content as required

About you:

  • Minimum of 5 years of editorial experience, ideally in a news or current affairs environment
  • Experience of writing for a business audience
  • International Experience
  • Multimedia and content development experience preferred
  • Degree in journalism, politics or international relations or related fields

Skills:

  • High proficiency at copyediting and proof
- reading

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication in English
  • Ability to manage multiples projects and deadlines
  • Experiences user of content management systems
  • Strong understanding of global security issues
  • Ability to work with diverse teams in a c ross cultural and/or remote context
