About Toowoomba Grammar School
Toowoomba Grammar School was founded in 1875.
It is an independent non-denominational day and boarding school for boys with a total enrolment of 1,200 from Preparatory to Year 12.
There are approximately 300 boarders in the School coming predominantly from throughout Queensland, northern New South Wales and the Northern Territory.
The School's campus covers 20.5 hectares and is located one kilometre from the centre of Toowoomba.
It is our vision that our boys will graduate from TGS with the skills to be independent, well-balanced, and successful in life.
About the Position
The Artist in Residence will provide instruction to boys in Years in their specific area of expertise supporting the development of creative and artistic pursuits.
You will provide demonstrations to students at specified times throughout the school week which will include some lunch periods and after-school sessions.
This four-week contract is to commence in Term 2 and times will be scheduled in conjunction with the Teacher-in-Charge of Art.
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrate their specific artistic genre with skill and expertise;
- Display an enthusiasm and passion for their chosen field; and
- Inspire boys in greater creativity and innovation.
