The Wood Minerals & Metals team is currently engaged in essential metals projects, including Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. Working on projects from studies to EPCM packages, the team is involved in developments across various regions from Australia to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Wood is seeking a Senior Cost Controller to join our Perth team within the Minerals & Metals division for an international EPCM project starting in August. This full-time position is available for permanent or contract employment.

About You

Your career has likely progressed within the resource sector, engaging in a range of projects that have led you to specialize in project controls and cost management. With substantial experience in project delivery environments, you understand the setup and execution of medium to large-scale projects.

  • Ideally, you possess at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. While a degree in a relevant technical or business discipline is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
  • You are a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, adept at managing time and tasks efficiently.
  • You have advanced skills in cost control processes within multi-discipline EPCM and EPC projects.
  • You possess a 'solutions mindset' and can handle various tasks with changing priorities.
  • You have a proactive attitude, thriving in a positive team environment.
  • You hold valid working rights in Australia.
