We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering group to meet the increased demand for critical metals and battery mineral projects.

Skills, experience, and activities include but are not limited to:

Sound/Solid understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics design

in a mining/mineral processing environment.

Ability to independently develop electrical design drawings

(SLDs, Schematics, and Terminations), from first principles, relevant standards, and best practices.

Proven experience in the mining sector

in design, commissioning, testing, and site-related experiences.

Leadership skills

to manage a design project from conception to delivery.

High degree of communication skills

to provide direction to less experienced engineers, designers, and drafters.

Strong written and verbal communication skills

to write technical documentation, reports, and scopes of work.

Knowledge of power systems

to carry out fault studies, earthing design, lightning protection design, and load flow modeling.

Perform electrical calculations

including load studies, cable sizing, electrical equipment sizing calcs, etc.

Prepare specification documentation

for electrical equipment in a mining environment.
