Teacher of Learning Strategies


Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Teacher of Learning Strategies at their Junior School (Grimwade House), commencing in Term 2.


You will

  • Have enthusiasm for a commitment to teaching students from Prep to Year
  • Ability to teach across our middle school if needed.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the learning needs of a wide range of abilities
  • Have the ability to use formative assessment as a means of improving student learning
  • Have a flexible and dynamic approach to teaching and learning
  • Have qualifications and experience within Special Education
VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential

This position is full-time permanent being offered.

The School is divided into two well-resourced sections, each with its own classrooms, level coordinator and specially designed play area.

'Harleston' houses the Junior Primary Years Prep, 1, 2. and 3 and Upper Primary for Years 4, 5 and 6.

In addition to an extensive classroom program there are a number of specialist programs that work together to provide a holistic educational experience.
