We are looking for HD Fitters for a site in North Queensland with a cool team culture and a 7/7 roster. It's a stable job with flights and accommodation covered.

Responsibilities and Team

Join a well-connected team at the site. You'll be reporting to the leading hand and responsible for:

  • Performing maintenance and breakdown repairs on various underground mining equipment
  • Working with a maintenance crew composed of HD Fitters, Drill Fitters, and Auto Electricians
  • Operating machinery from brands like Sandvik, CAT, Volvo, and Normet

Your Skills and Experience

We need a trade qualified fitter with at least 1-2 years of experience in civil, road transport, or agriculture. Crucially, you should:

  • Preferably have mining experience
  • Be eager to learn about underground hard rock mining
  • Have a positive work attitude and a drive to acquire new skills
  • Be a team player and enjoy collaborating with others
  • Be able to work independently and willing to take on challenges
  • Prioritize safety above all else
