The Position
We are seeking a Software Tester to join our team in West End.

Reporting to the Testing Manager, your role will involve daily testing activities that supports the growth of testing environment through internal tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

Testing:

• Ensure all Jacques test systems are maintained and operational to the required standard
• Ensure all developments and variations to test systems are logged and managed
• Support of the various inhouse and portable demo systems
• Provide customer support, technical advice, systems training and commissioning when required
• Ensure all software systems tests are in alignment with best practice; these may include smoke testing, unity testing, functional testing and or any other automated systems implemented now or in the future
• Provide support to Sales when required for external or internal customer issues

Documentation:

• Validate all required documentation, proof reading and crosschecking with industry and enduser requirements for commissioning
• Validate all required technical documentation is actioned, reviewed and approved during the testing phase if applicable
• Ensure documentation (internal & external) adheres to Jacques professional corporate image

Skills and Experience

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills both external and internal.
• Quality conscious (knowledge of ISO 9001 an advantage).
• Ability to handle competing priorities
• Knowledge of Linux, SQL, and IP based networks.
• Proactive and takes initiative
• Computer literate (MS office as a minimum)

Remuneration
We are offering a salary of $72,500 plus superannuation.

Salary:
$72,500.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• West, End: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (preferred)
