Warehouse Supervisor

THE ROLE

Our client is a proud Australian manufacturer competing on the world stage in recycled rubber product development, innovation, distribution and service.

They convert tyre rubber into various flooring products, lessening the impact on the environment and reducing landfill.

Due to growth within the business, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for their site in the western suburbs of Melbourne.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in stocktaking and inventory procedures
• Provide clear packing requirements and/or specific instructions on a routine basis to staff under supervision
• Monitor the storage and packing quality control procedures that have been established to ensure they are being performed in accordance to the company's policies and procedures
• Booking of transport collections creation of con notes, pallet labels and delivery dockets.
• Ensuring all invoices & paperwork are collated and checked ready to be sent to H/O for processing
• Ensure consumable packing materials are being appropriately monitored and held in stock
• Opening or closing of the warehouse site
• Checking of incoming goods against paperwork to ensure accuracy
• Loading and Unloading of trucks
• Allocating and retrieving product from specific warehouse areas
• Picking and packing of goods and materials

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Must hold current forklift (LF) Licence
• Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations
• Reliable, responsible and a willingness to treat the business as your own
• Intermediate computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office and WMS

• Available for interstate travel for training and development
• Ability to be available from 6:30am4pm weekdays
