Freight Investigator with a great customer focus to join their growing team in their NSW Transport Hub based in South-West Sydney.

About the role

  • Investigating missing, damaged, or delayed freight
  • Organising customer pickups and managing freight bookings
  • Conducting hub searches and floor sweeps for absent or unidentified freight
  • Providing operational support to the customer service team
  • Providing administrative assistance to the transport operations team
  • Adhoc administrative duties

About you
You need a safety-focused mindset and comfortable working in a warehouse facility.

You will need exceptional communication, experience working in a team environment, responding to a high volume of enquiries, and being physically fit to move freight around various areas of the operation manually.


Requirements:

  • Can start ASAP
  • Available Monday to Friday, between 8am 6pm
  • Proven experience within a warehouse or logistics operation or working in a customer servicebased role within the transport industry
  • Great attitude and excellent communication skills, and you must be a team player with the ability to work cohesively with others
  • Ability to carry up to 25kgs
  • You will need your own steel cap boots/shoes, and a hivis vest.
  • Willingness to undergo a police check and be vaccinated against Covid19
