About the role:


Join our dynamic Incident Management Team and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers As the Incident and Product Safety Advisor, you'll lead the charge in executing the Customer Markets Incident Response Plan (CMIRP) during critical incidents and large-scale remediation efforts.

Your expertise will also be crucial in managing our Extreme Event playbook, addressing challenges from bushfires to floods, ensuring our customers are always protected.

As well as supporting the business with Product Safety assurance.

In this exciting role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support Customer Markets with top-notch Incident Management Coordination.
  • Oversee and manage responses to Extreme Events, demonstrating agility and resourcefulness.
  • Support the business with effective Product Safety Assurance and managing product safety incidents and recalls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Incident Management, including stakeholder engagement, investigations, and remediation planning.
  • Monitor and execute the Extreme Events playbook for customer protection during crises.
  • Product Safety assurance and manage related incidents and recalls.
  • Continuously improve incident response, extreme event management, and Product Safety Assurance.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in a large business environment experience in the energy and/or telco industry preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, grown and maintain exceptional relationships.
  • Ability to own initiatives end to end to uplift AGL's risk and compliance maturity.
  • High level of customer service experience, delivering positive customer outcomes.
  • Proven ability to drive collaborative outcomes across crossfunctional departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high quality, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong attention to detail
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office tools such as MS PowerPoint with experience creating packs and reports.
  • The ability to simplify complex matters for senior stakeholders.
