Apprentice - Furnisher Upholsterer

We are looking for someone with an interest in a career in upholstery and furnishings to join the team as an Apprentice Upholsterer.

The role requires tafe attendance in blocks (usually one week a term) at Holmesglen Institute, Moorabbin. Role is based in Glenroy, Victoria.

We are looking for someone with an interest in a career in upholstery and furnishings to join the team as an Apprentice Upholsterer.

The role requires tafe attendance in blocks (usually one week a term) at Holmesglen Institute, Moorabbin.

Key Responsibilities

• Take measurements and accurately cut materials required for furniture upholstery
• Use webbing stretchers to extend webbings and fabrics to be used as covers.
• Work with material and wood related tools and machinery.
• Uphold WHS at all times
• Strong focus on delivering the best quality.

Skills & Experience

• Interest in furniture upholstery and production.
• High level of attention to detail
