We're seeking highly skilled Senior Software Engineers with expertise in Node JS to join our dynamic API team.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient backend systems to support our platform's functionality.

Our API team enjoys various exciting and unique challenges; all centred around balancing fast-scaling AI technology while building the most intuitive and high-performing experience for our users.

As a Senior Software Engineer in our API Team, you will:

Lead Projects:
Take ownership of delivering solutions for the API Team, driving initiatives that advance our current capabilities.

Mentor Junior Team Members:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.

Develop Best Practices:
Be a thought leader in developing our best practices, ensuring high standards across our processes.
Hands-on Coding: Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that enhances our platform's reliability and performance.

Cross-Team Collaboration:
Work closely with product and design teams to ensure project alignment for the business needs.

Share Knowledge:
Share your knowledge and expertise to enhance team collaboration and collective growth.

Continuous Growth:

Under the mentorship of Tech Leads and the Head of Engineering, stay ahead by exploring emerging trends and technologies in software engineering and AI.


Champion Diversity:

Skills We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with:
Strong backend software development experience with a focus on Node JSExpertise in designing and building scalable backend systems with Type Script, Node JS, REST API or Graph QLProficiency in database technologies like Postgre SQLExperience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams Demonstrated ability to mentor and drive technical excellence within the team Our Culture

Round - Craft Interview:


You'll meet some team members to discuss the technical task in more depth, work through some technical questions related to your expertise and cover past projects, experience and career aspirations.


Round - Technical Task:


If you're applying for a technical role, you may be given a short, take-home task to assess your skills and approach to problem-solving.

This could be a real-life business scenario to unpack, a presentation, a test or a collaboration exercise.
