What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Product Quality Manager, your new role will focus on repairing our products in a timely and cost-effective manner, so they can be returned to stock as quickly as possible.

Based in our NSW Distribution Centre in Kings Park, your key duties will include:

  • Undertaking repairs of returned and damaged furniture items to reduce the cost of Quality to the business.
  • Partnering closely with the Returns and broader Quality team to ascertain which items can be repaired without undue cost or time.
  • Providing advice and feedback on repairs, quality and product improvements when required.
  • Proactively managing all safety matters in your role and beyond.
  • Providing repair training to other staff members.
  • Supporting the team with ad hoc duties as and when they arise.
Who you are

You will have sound experience of repairing solid and timber products, you take genuine pride in your work and are able to repair furniture to a standard where the original fault is not readily noticeable.

Prior qualifications in furniture repair, cabinet making or French polishing will be the key to your success, with experience in repairing leather and / or upholstery an added bonus.
