Role exclusive to Profusion Group

Role and responsibilities:

  • Maintain the enterprise risk management framework : This involves overseeing the framework used to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across the organization. You would be the go-to person within the team for understanding and applying various risk management and compliance frameworks.
  • Manage the Group-level strategic risk assessment : Working closely with senior stakeholders, you would lead the assessment of strategic risks facing the entire organization. This would likely involve identifying emerging risks, evaluating their potential impact, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Manage the annual cycle of risk assessments : You'd oversee the process of assessing operational and compliance risks on an annual basis, collaborating with local Risk & Compliance (R&C) teams to ensure consistency and thoroughness in risk identification and assessment.
  • Manage the Group-level incident process : This involves overseeing the process for handling incidents that occur at the group level, ensuring they are promptly reported, investigated, and addressed according to established procedures.

Background requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in regulatory or compliance roles within financial services (specifically within Insurance or wealth management)

    • Demonstrable 2nd line, enterprise or Group-wide experience (essential)
  • Australian regulatory experience - Sydney based role with 3 days/week in the office
