About the Role


As a key member of the ATSICHS Brisbane team, the Dental Prosthetist is expected to personally contribute to the shaping and achievement of ATSICHS vision and goals within their own scope.

This role provides a range of dental technology services from assisting the Dentist through to expert knowledge in the area of dental prostheses construction.

Furthermore, the Prosthetist will complete professional manufacturing of a variety of dental cosmetic and prosthetic products and educate patients in hygiene practices relating to denture prostheses.

Duties

  • Provide routine dental prosthetic clinical services within clinical protocols.
  • Ensure quality control of dental laboratory equipment.
  • Understanding of the principles of oral health care with the ability to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of all clinical and computer software systems.

COVID-19 Requirements

  • A medical certificate signed by a medical practitioner stating you have received both doses of a COVID19 vaccination.

Skills and Experiences:

Required

Advanced Diploma Dental Prosthetics or equivalent.
Unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
At least 3 years' experience as a Dental Prosthetist.
Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Known Blood Borne Viral Status including HIV, Hepatitis B and C and antibody levels.
Demonstrated ability to meet targets and performance outcomes.
Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card) or be eligible to apply.

  • Current National Police Check.
