We are an Organic turmeric farm and drink production business that makes organic turmeric and ginger drinks. We are in Maroochy River.

We are seeking a farm and kitchen hand for our turmeric and drink production.

This position is permanent part-time approximately 15 hrs per week.

The position requires two main duties.

Farm/ Gardening work:

One day a week getting a bit dirty, Whippy snipping and hand weeding the turmeric beds and vegetable garden, fertilizing and pruning work of lime trees.

Digging out turmeric in harvesting season and washing clean. AUG-SEPT.

Processing turmeric root.

Must be fit as our farm is on a steep hill. Some gardening experience is preferred but not essential. We provide tools.

Process/ Kitchenhand work:
One to two days Assist in the production of drinks. Sanitizing bottles, filling, bottling, and capping of drinks, Washing, cleaning of Pots and kitchen after production. Labelling and boxing of drinks must be able to lift up to 15kg.

Experience in process/kitchen work preferred as hot bottling can be fast-paced.

The position requires that you have your own transport and PPE. Boots, gloves, hat, eyewear. We are a safe working environment.
