About the role

We are looking for Personal Care Workers to be part of our team on a Permanent Part-time basis.

As a Personal Care Worker, your main duty will be to provide direct care to residents and help them with their daily activities, considering their individual physical, social, and cultural needs.

As a Personal Care Worker you will:

  • Provide personal care and give emotional support to residents needing help with daily living;
  • Take part in creating and reviewing care plans for residents/clients, maintain records, and report any health changes to the Registered Nurse;
  • Respect the dignity and privacy of all residents, staff, and their representatives, handling all interactions confidentially;
  • Help in creating a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment;
  • Perform tasks assigned by the Registered Nurse.

About you

If you are a caring person who enjoys being around seniors and building relationships with them, then this role is for you. A positive team player who can work well with colleagues and support them as needed.

In order to qualify for this position, you need:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support;
  • Availability to work a minimum of three shifts weekly;
  • Current National Police Check or the ability to obtain one.
